ELECTRIC TANDEM FOR MAXIMUM COMFORT

Last week we delivered this beautiful eCellecs tandem bike to Carlos and Elena! ⚡ A couple passionate about cycling, sports and nature. They had been looking for a tandem to share their mountain rides together for a long time and they have been right on target! Now, with our custom-made electric hardtail with low step-over, they will be able to enjoy their adventures with maximum comfort and reliability.

An electric tándem for maximum confort

This is an electric tandem for maximum comfort, i.e. what the riders wanted to prioritize the most is comfort and safety. That is why the rigid mountain frame model with low step-over is the most suitable for them. This model makes entry and exit of the tandem effortless and gives much more safety to the co-pilot.

As for its components, we have also assembled them following this line, looking for maximum ergonomics. The components that we have assembled in this tandem are the ones that differentiate it the most from the rest of the tandems that we usually assemble.

What makes it different from other tandems?

One of the components that sets this tandem apart from the rest is the Cinelli DOUBLE TROUBLE rider handlebar. With a very steep setback angle to give the healthiest possible position for the wrists. In addition, we ensure a very comfortable hand position by mounting the BRN Palmari Ergo Pro nere grips.

Another important component to mention is the CANE CREEK seatpost, which provides cushioning to the co-pilot through an elastomer. This minimizes impacts on the pelvic area. Both components are ideal for improving comfort and riding comfort.

This is the first tandem in which we have mounted tires of the MSC tires brand, with which we have recently started to collaborate. The truth is that the TRACTOR 2.3” model, which we have mounted on this tandem, seems to us to be the perfect choice for our electric hard tail models. A wide tire with a medium lug that provides a very good grip while allowing a smooth and fast rolling. The 2.3” model is the perfect width to provide all the safety and stability needed on a mountain tandem bike.
