CUSTOMIZE YOUR TANDEM CAMPMAJÓ
Thanks to our artisan work methodology, we are specialists in adapting our products to the physical needs and aesthetic preferences of each of our clients. That is why we have always opted for the “bike fitting”.
As with bicycles, with tandems the geometries can also be adapted to achieve the best interaction between the tandem and its riders and make your rides a much more comfortable and pleasant experience.
In this page you will find the necessary form to adapt the tandem, not only to your measurements but also to your tastes and aesthetic preferences, choosing the colors, the type of finish and the components you wish to assemble.
Once we receive this form, we will contact you to finalize the final details before sending you the budget. Once the budget is agreed, we will begin the production process.
For any questions in the process, do not hesitate to contact us through the whatsapp of the contact form.
The “bike fitting” is a quick and simple option with which, through a form with the main measurements, a fairly approximate geometry can be extracted that adapts to the body proportions of each cyclist.
From the measurements of the form, the configuration of the tandem and its geometry is analyzed and adapted to the physical and biomechanical characteristics of each one of the riders. The main goal of bike fitting is to achieve an optimal position on the tandem that maximizes comfort, efficiency and injury prevention.
The following are the 5 necessary measurements to create a geometry adapted to each rider:
- Inseam: vertical line from the floor to the pelvis bone
- Suprasternal notch: vertical line from the floor to the cavity above the sternum, right at the base of the neck
- Total height in upright position
- Forearm: horizontal line from the centre of the fist to the wall. With the elbow at 90° and leaning against the wall
- Arm: horizontal line from the centre of the fist to the wall. Arm fully extended following the horizontal line of the floor
To take the measurements you need to be barefoot and the arm measurements always should reach the centre of the closed fist, as if you were holding the handlebar of the bike.
If you have any questions about the form, do not hesitate to contact us!
