- 7000 series aluminum frame handcrafted in Tarragona
- TIG welding, option of polished aluminium welds (additional cost)

- Multi-size option for tandems with multiple riders. Suitable for riders between 165 and 185cm

EXTERNAL DRIVETRAIN SYSTEM
Our tandems are equipped with an external transmission system, of our own design. In this system, the primary 1:1 transmission is built externaly. This way we avoid the most common chain problems in conventional tandems.
To be able to mount this system, we mount SunRace MX 94mm bcd cranks on the most affordable tandems.
If you want to mount higher end cranks and maintain the correct chain line, we make our own spiders. This is why we always mount “direct mount” connecting cranks.
You can see an example of these in our road tandems.
REAR SPIDER
With the rear spider we manage to unify the two plates with the connecting crank. The outer plate is fixed with a 1:1 ratio with the front plate. The largest chainring is the one that acts as a single chainring and is responsible for transmitting the pedaling force to the rear wheel.
CHAIN TENSIONER
Our tandems carry our own tensioning system consisting of an Anchorage ISCG05 tensioner with an 11T jocker wheel. This system is much more practical than the conventional eccentric system.
1 – Easier to adjust, no need to remove the cranks
2 – You can tighten the chain without changing the geometry
3 – By tensioning upwards, the chain is more protected
4 – Easier to find the right tension
At Campmajó we have been developing our own chain tensioner for years and it works amazing! Even for our competition models.
ADJUSTABLE REAR STEM
Per assegurar la màxima comoditat del copilot, per als nostres tàndems fabriquem la nostra pròpia potència posterior ajustable. En aquest sistema la mateixa abraçadora de la potència és la que fixa la tija del sellent davanter. D’aquesta manera es pot ajustar l’alçada del sellent sense que la potència canvii de posició. La posició del manillar s’ajusta amb el propi sistema graduable de la potència.
Aquest sistema resulta molt còmode en general, però especialment quan es tracta d’un tàndem que canvia de pilots habitualment.
