🚴‍♂️Sea Otter Europe: The Event of the Year

Sea Otter Europe is, for Campmajó, the event of the year. It is a moment to celebrate what we have achieved, to take stock of where we stand, and to lay the foundations for the year ahead. This year once again proved how essential this event is for our growth, giving us the opportunity to connect with the cycling community, showcase our latest work, and start shaping the projects that will define the future.

This 2025 edition of Sea Otter Europe broke records, with nearly 74,000 visitors, more than 6,000 riders competing across different disciplines, and over 500 brands presenting their innovations. Despite some rain, Girona was filled with energy, proving once again that this festival has become the leading cycling gathering in Europe.

🪵 A Stand that Reflects Our Values

This year we extended our stand and invested in presenting our bikes as they deserve. We created elegant timber racks built from recycled wood we receive with our shipments of aluminium from our German suppliers. The result was a clean, functional, and beautiful display that told our story of sustainability, creativity, uniqueness and craftsmanship.

⚡ OLI and Bosch: A New Era for Tandems

One of our proudest moments at this year’s festival was the presentation, thanks to our partners at Carbon Drive, of the most important innovation for us this year: our tandem bikes powered by Bosch motors.

To make this launch even more special, we unveiled a brand-new blue tone, first tested by Sergi on his trials bike, it has become the signature colour of this edition. Innovations like these represent the evolution of our work, and our constant commitment to improvement and progress. And we could not be more thankful to OLI, FSA, Shimano, Racing Parts, Cobalai, Formula and SQ Lab for their continued support and components to make this happen.

We were equally pleased to reintroduce our newly painted tandem equipped with the OLI motor. This is our most affordable assisted e-bike option, delivering excellent performance while allowing us to support another Southern European brand that stands out for its great performance, customer service and commitment.

🌟 A Star Guest: Will Escobar

Without question, Will Escobar stole the show this year. As our invited athlete, he brought his custom painted Myotragus, with the colour choice designed and painted by himself. 

His presence was the perfect way to highlight our latest partnership with Myotragus, which attracted huge attention and admiration from visitors throughout the festival.

🎯 Trial Bikes and Live Shows

Alongside our tandems, we presented two of our latest trial bikes in 26-inch and 20-inch versions, each equipped with top-tier components. And showcasing another innovation we launched this year: our trial bikes can now be fitted with a carbon fork, offering riders an even lighter and more responsive setup.

Our ambassador Sergi brought them to life during the official Saturday 5pm trials show, thrilling the audience with his skill and energy.

🤝 Visitors, Media, and Longtime Friends

Throughout the weekend we welcomed visits from media and influencers including GCF France, Bicimania, Ruedas Gordas, and @bysergimas, among others. 

It was also especially meaningful to see some of our earliest clients such as Pep and Imma, and Josep and Montse, who arrived with their tandem bikes built on our original designs. Their presence was a vivid reminder of the endurance of our frames, the innovation behind them, and the trust our riders continue to place in us year after year.

🔮 Looking Ahead

We closed this edition with real excitement: new projects in motion, fresh partnerships forming, and the clear sense that Sea Otter 2025 has been a launching pad for our next stage. Now begins the hard work — refining, iterating, producing — to make Sea Otter 2026 an even bigger success.
