PRODUCING A GRAVEL TANDEM FOR ONCE

This January, we have delivered a gravel tandem with the basic pack of components by ONCE, the National Organization of the Spanish Blind. ONCE is one of the largest non-profit corporations in Spain with more than 70,000 members. We are very proud of contributing to people with visual disabilities being able to ride a bicycle and once again feel the good sensations and great benefits it brings.
One of the main features and advantages of working with us is that the tandems are completely customized. In this case we not only made the tandem frame in the foundation’s characteristic green but we also mounted matching wheels, thus making it a unique and corporate tandem of the brand!
Being a tandem for a foundation, it is not a tandem made to be used only by a specific couple or pilot or co-pilot, but will be used by many different people. In cases like this, we define an approximate range of heights and from there we find an approximate geometry suitable for people who are within that range. In this case, the height range has been between 1.68m and 1.78m.
