FIRST ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN TANDEM

Introducing the first of our electric mountain tandems with our latest “eCellecs” design. In this new version we have placed the battery in the lower and central area of the frame, in this way we achieve some improvements such as:
- Facilitate the internal connection system between engine and battery
- Ensure maximum stability by lowering the center of gravity of the whole set
- Maintain a simpler and lighter aesthetic
In addition, we have also redesigned the CNC machined engine and front bottom bracket mounts, always looking for the best aesthetics while maintaining maximum structural strength and minimum weight.
This is the first of our tandems with our beautiful new “lettering” Cellecs including the electric aspect.
This tandem is customized for an Asturian couple, Marga and Fernando. They wanted an electric mountain tandem to be able to do mostly mountain tracks and occasionally some more demanding trails. That is why, to give it a more graveler touch and to have more speed on the track, they chose to mount Vittoria Mezcal 2.25 tires, which offer mixed performance between XC and gravel.
They also chose the pearl white frame color with a matte finish, which is very much in line with our signature colors and which we love!
The assembly of this bike has been a pack of components between the basic and the medium. With Rockshox Reba RL 29″ Bost 100mm travel fork, Shimano Deore XT 12v transmission system and Ritchey Comp power pack and seatposts.
In addition, to offer maximum comfort and positioning to the riders we have mounted Ergon saddles for men and women respectively.
