All Road Custom for bikepacking Adventures: Albert's project to be able to face any route

When Albert reached out to us, he had a very clear vision: he wanted a bike that could do it all. A road bike, fast and efficient, but strong enough to handle gravel, bikepacking trips, and long-distance adventures. That’s how this All Road Custom project was born: a truly bespoke creation built to perform equally well on tarmac or dirt.

Custom frame design with a lot of details

The foundation of Albert’s All Road Custom bike is a fully bespoke frame designed for a perfect balance of performance and comfort. The geometry was tailored to fit him precisely, ensuring efficiency on long road rides while maintaining stability on gravel and adventure terrain.

Built with high-quality Dedacciai aluminum tubes, the frame achieves an ideal combination of stiffness, strength, and lightness, with polished welds giving it a refined and elegant finish. Every aspect of the frame was carefully considered, from the adapted seat tube that accommodates wide all-road tires and creates a compact, sleek look, to the extra mounts for racks, bottles, and frame bags, making it fully ready for bikepacking and long-distance adventures.

Integrated internal cable routing allows for smooth installation of drivetrain, brakes, and a dynamo-powered lighting system, while compatibility with modern standards like UDH rear dropouts, tapered head tube, BSA bottom bracket, and 27.2 mm seatpost ensures the bike is future-proof. Paired with a Columbus carbon fork, the frame achieves a clean and sophisticated aesthetic, while the attention to detail in every element reflects both the rider’s vision and the craftsmanship of the team. The result is a versatile, elegant, and highly functional All Road bike capable of tackling any terrain and adventure Albert dreams of.

Custom paint and finish

The frame features a minimalist, raw aluminum finish, celebrating the material itself rather than covering it with traditional paint. The polished aluminum is coated with a matte clear varnish, giving it a refined and subtle finish while allowing the natural color and texture of the aluminum to show through.

To enhance the visual appeal, the logos are applied in black, creating a strong contrast. The result is an elegant and understated aesthetic that perfectly complements the bike’s bespoke design, as clearly visible in the gallery photos.

Custom build

The assembly of Albert’s All Road bike was carried out by Faro Workshop, a local studio renowned for their precision and craftsmanship. Albert collaborated closely with them to select each component, ensuring the bike reflected his personal taste while meeting all functional requirements. A standout example is the RamForce XPLR drivetrain, featuring a 46-33 double chainring paired with a 12-speed 10-44 cassette, offering a perfect balance of road speed and climbing capability. The matching brown Prologo saddle and bar tape, combined with the tire sidebands, give the bike a unique and refined aesthetic.

This project is a testament to the power of collaboration. Faro Workshop brought their expert technical skills to the assembly, our team crafted the bespoke frame with precision, and Albert contributed his vision and enthusiasm. Together, this partnership combined craftsmanship, expertise, and personal input to create a high-performing, fully tailored All Road bike that reflects the passion and creativity of everyone involved.

Stem spacer for accessories

Another feature to highlight in this build is a part we developed exclusively in our workshop: a headset spacer with an integrated threaded mount for accessories. This innovative solution fits between the head tube and the stem, allowing not only handlebar height adjustment but also the secure attachment of accessories such as lights, GPS mounts, or action cameras in a clean and elegant way.

The idea came up during the development of this project, seeking a functional and aesthetically discreet way to mount accessories without adding external elements or clamps.
